1) Go to Google Account Settings.
2) Select Data & Personalization.
3) within the page that appears, scroll right down to Download, delete, or make an idea for your data
4) Click Delete a service or your account.
5) Then choose Delete a service on subsequent page also .
6) You’ll be remind to sign into your account.
7) On subsequent page you’ll choose the service you’d wish to delete. If you would like to delete a Gmail account, click the trashcan icon next to Gmail.
8) Enter an email address different from the address related to the Gmail account you’re closing under Enter an email address within the How you’ll check in to Google panel .
9) Click Send Verification Email.
10) Open the e-mail from Google (no-reply@accounts.google.com) with the topic “Security alert for your linked Google account” or “Gmail Deletion Confirmation”.
11) Follow the deletion link within the message.
12) If prompted, log in to the Gmail account you’re deleting.
13) Under Confirm Gmail Deletion Select Yes, i would like to delete example@gmail.com permanently from my Google Account.
14) Click Delete Gmail.
15) Click Done.
